At present, PVC artificial leather is the dominant product of the first generation. There are three types of products

① Ordinary artificial leather is also called non foaming artificial leather. With plain cloth, canvas and recycled cloth as the base, it is made by direct coating method. Because the coating is dense and the paste can penetrate into the pores of the base cloth, the finished product feels hard and wear-resistant. Mainly used for making wear-resistant packaging bags, construction and industrial accessories.

② Foam artificial leather. Usually it is based on needle woven fabric. Foaming agent and its additives are used in the surface paste. When it is gelatinization, it forms a microporous structure, resulting in light quality, full and soft handle. It is produced by transfer coating. It is mainly used for gloves, bags, bags, clothing and furniture.

③ Suede leather. It is commonly known as artificial suede. It has a wide variety and various production methods.

There are three kinds of artificial leather, namely PVC and Pu, and the recent super fiber leather. At present, PVC and Pu artificial leather still occupy the mainstream position.

What is the difference between PVC and Pu? Pu is polyurethane, PVC is the abbreviation of PVC. People are used to call the artificial leather made of PVC resin as raw material; The artificial leather produced from PU resin is called Pu artificial leather (PU leather for short): the synthetic leather made from PU resin and non-woven fabric is called PU synthetic leather (synthetic leather).

Pu and PVC are different from those of PVC

PU leather is less toxic than PVC leather, environmental protection (environmental protection leather refers to PU leather), and the hand feel is softer than PVC leather.

Cracking (hydrolysis) may occur in the bad environment for a long time, but it will not cause secondary pollution to the environment. When the product is abandoned, it can be degraded naturally, while PVC will not be changed for ten thousand years.

PVC artificial leather is generally sparse, while PU synthetic leather cloth bottom is more dense than that of PU.

PVC artificial leather has a foaming layer, and Pu is the pulp and cloth bottom.

Pu artificial leather, anti yellowing agent, yellow resistance up to the fourth grade standard.

PVC leather is more durable, tear resistant, scratch resistant, flame resistant and weather resistant than PU leather.
