The manufacturing process of PU leather is more complicated than that of PVC leather. As the base cloth of Pu is canvas PU material with good tensile strength, it can not only be coated on the top of the base cloth, but also include the base cloth in the middle, so that the existence of the base cloth can not be seen. The physical properties of PU leather are better than those of PVC leather, such as bending resistance, good softness, high tensile strength and air permeability (PVC free). The pattern of PVC leather is hot pressed by steel pattern roller; The pattern of PU leather is a kind of pattern paper, which is first hot pressed on the surface of semi-finished leather, and then separated from the paper leather after cooling down for surface treatment. The price of PU leather is more than twice as high as that of PVC leather. The price of PU leather with special requirements is 2-3 times higher than that of PVC leather. Generally, the pattern paper for PU leather can only be used for 4-5 times, and then it will be scrapped; The use cycle of pattern roller is long, so the cost of PU leather is higher than that of PVC leather.

There are also some differences in the application scope of these two materials. In footwear, PVC leather is mostly used in lining, non weight bearing parts or children's shoes; PU leather can be applied to the fabric of shoes or parts bearing weight. In terms of bags, PVC leather is more suitable. This is because the items in the bag are different from the feet in the shoes and will not emit heat; You don't have to bear your own weight.

It's easy to distinguish between Pu and PVC. From the corners, Pu's bottom cloth is much thicker than PVC's, and there are differences in handle. Pu's handle is softer; The handle of PVC is harder; You can also use fire to burn. The taste of Pu is much lighter than that of PVC.
